Is it really free?

Yes. Unlimited trips, unlimited people, unlimited expenses, and every split method, with no account required and nothing held back behind a paywall.

Is there a catch?

No trial to expire, no feature that stops working, and no card to enter. Your trip data is never sold, it's only ever what you type in, and you can delete a trip whenever you want.

Do I need an account?

No. A trip lives at its own private link that you share with the group. Adding an email is optional, and only exists to give you a dashboard listing your trips across devices.

Does RoamTally handle the actual money?

No. RoamTally works out who owes whom, and you settle up however your group already does.

Will it stay free?

Everything listed on this page is free to use, with no time limit. Optional paid extras may show up later, but they'd be additions — nothing you can do today gets moved behind a paywall.
